The Road Sign Recognition System - RS2

The Road Sign Recognition System (RS2) is being developed at the Faculty of Transportation Scieneces, CTU prague, since 1995. The goal is to design algorithms for the recognition of road signs from images acquired from the moving vehicle. We implement these algorithm in the environment of the DSP processor which could work as a part of car on-board system. The aim is to increase the road traffic safety by offering important information about the traffic situation to the human driver.
